Khwai Tented Camp

Set within the Okavango’s community-run Khwai Concession, the camp laps up its beautiful lagoon front setting. It seamlessly blends into the encompassing woodland area. Simple yet elegant, Khwai Tented Camp is the peak of a luxury Khwai safari. 

Khwai Tented Camp offers a Botswana safari that is in harmony with nature. In keeping with the eco-conscious approach, there are no permanent structures, and the camp is solar-powered. The main area is under canvas, comprising a comfortable lounge area, cosy bar and dining area which spills out onto the deck which extends down on to our barefoot luxury river sand beach area. It is from this deck that one can take in the breathtaking views of the lagoon over a cup of steaming hot coffee and some lively fireside chatter before or after your exciting safari activity. The nearby hammock or sparkling swimming pool beckons for some deep relaxation. A highlight is dining under the stars in our Boma out in the bush. 

The Khwai Concession is arguably one of the most scenically beautiful parts of the Okavango Delta. This, combined with the fact that it is home to some of the greatest concentrations of wildlife make it a wildly popular safari destination.
